The global pandemic put a hitch in so many activities here in Lake Havasu. Thankfully, we came out of lockdown a while ago. Things are starting to change. Even huge events like the Lake Havasu Balloon Festival made a few concessions in order to ensure people stayed safe while they enjoyed themselves. Mark your calendars, people. Next month is your last chance to enjoy a First Friday Havasu event for the season.

First Friday Havasu - Spring 2021

The last official First Friday of the season takes place on Friday, May 7th. Every one of these events celebrates local art, music, and the Havasu lifestyle. Havasu Olive Oil & Garlic Company plans on setting up delicious Ohana Poke charcuterie boards for the event. Plus,  the food trucks at KAWS promise to satisfy anybody's tastebuds no matter what you crave for the evening. For the adults, visit Beertender Lauren Cummiford with Fugs Pub to slake your thirst. They offer beer from Mudshark and College Street breweries.

On the Anderson Toyota stage, listen to Yachty by Nature perform their version of "yacht rock". Brad Johnson performs at Flying X. And for live art, visit Our Place to see a sculpture series of the Wizard of Oz. Other local artists showcase their works around the Downtown Havasu area. Rachel Kaiser is the featured artist for May.

Parking

Parking for First Friday Havasu can get a little tricky when it's busy. They limit Main Street parking during First Friday hours. So, your best chance of finding a parking spot lies behind the First Friday buildings on Jay's Way. It is just a short stroll to Main Street from there.
