First Friday Lake Havasu

Last month began the 2024/2025 season of First Friday events in Lake Havasu. What happens? Well, a lot of things as it turns out. For example, pick up a little something-something from one or more of the 60+ vendors that set up shop along McCulloch Blvd (between Smoketree and Mulberry) for the evening. Additionally, a new band performs every month. September's season opener featured Yard City favorites The Blaggards. You'll have to come to the next First Friday event on October 4th to find out who's playing next month.

When the musicians take their break, a DJ takes over to keep the joint jumpin'. Plus, food prepared by some of the best chefs in Havasu become available to all who attend. In the past, this included great choices from Havasu favorites like Hangar 24, La Baja, True Eats, and others. It's a great way to start the weekend off right. Bring your friends. Bring your family. This is a great time that everyone can enjoy together.

Desert Bash Poker Run 2024

As we posted last week, registration for the Desert Bash Poker Run officially opened on September 15th. Even though it takes place in December, it always sells out quickly. That means that if you haven't already registered, you're late to the game. If you want to participate in one of the biggest poker runs of the year, head over to the Havasu Chamber of Commerce website right away to sign up before all of the spots are taken!
