Havasu July 4th Fireworks Over the Lake 2024

Organizers set off the fireworks from Spectator Point located at the Nautical Beachfront Resort. Tune your radio to KNTR's AM980 to enjoy a live simulcast set specifically to time their music to each display. We understand how important pets are to most families. However, loud noises and large crowds scare even the calmest of animals. Therefore, we highly suggest you leave your furry loved ones at home for the 4th...for your comfort as well as theirs.

Best Places to Watch the Fireworks

Rotary Park ranks highest with most locals for watching the fireworks each year. As such, it also fills up pretty quickly, making parking a struggle most times. However, the reason people like to watch here is because the view is spectacular. But if you choose Rotary Park, get there early, bring a cooler filled with cold non-alcoholic beverages, and make sure to take lawn chairs and/or blankets for your comfort.

Next? The Nautical Beachfront Resort. Parking tends to be extremely limited, though. No coolers or alcohol allowed. However, they do sell alcohol on the premises if you want it. You must be at least 21 years old with a valid ID to purchase it.

Another great location? London Bridge Beach. Again, head over to this area on the island early to find a good spot. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. They do allow coolers. We highly suggest stocking that cooler with icy cold drinks. It still stays toasty after dark.

The Havasu Riviera Marina offers a viewing party for just $20 per car. If you are an annual pass or slip holder, though, you get in for free. Their party starts at 4 pm and includes live music, food from PZA Wood-Fired Pizza and Minor's Diner, beverages from Shakerz Mobile Bar, and more.

Finally, many people like spending the day out on the lake. You might not want to cut that short. Instead of fighting the crowds on land, why not stay on your boat out on the lake and watch the fireworks show from there? Thompson Bay is the best place to view the show. Just make sure you get there early. Many people enjoy the fireworks from their boats and the bay fills up quickly. Anchor both the bow and stern, though. Winds kick up at that time of the night as does the current.
