Summer in Lake Havasu means triple-digit weather every day. Yes, it's a dry heat. However, it's still hot. This time of year, everyone turns into a water-baby. It's a great way to beat the heat. So, if you enjoy the water and want a little healthy competition thrown into your day, sign yourself and four friends up for the Havasu Waterpark Challenge 2026.

When: Monday, August 24th, from 4 pm to 7 pm

This challenge was created with the hospitality industry in mind. However, you do not need to be a member of the hospitality industry in order to participate. This event is open to everyone. You just need a team made up of five people willing to put themselves through some fun competition at the waterpark.

 

Teams can be made up of all ages. Employees, friends, and/or family are all welcome. In addition to the competition, guests will get to enjoy some amazing food, drinks, and more. The fun begins at 4 pm. Competition, however, starts at 5 pm. And even if you decide not to compete, still come watch. Our competitors need people to cheer them on to victory.

To register, simply visit the Chamber's website here. Organizers will accept up to 15 teams for competition. Each team must pay $150 to participate. You have until August 23rd to join or until all 15 team spots fill up, whichever comes first.
