Lake Havasu Balloon Festival 2024
We here at Sunstone Real Estate Group hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. We certainly did. Now that 2024 has arrived, it's time to prepare for the first major event of the year: the Lake Havasu Balloon Festival.
What: Lake Havasu Balloon Festival 2024
Where: Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4 (171 London Bridge Rd)
When: January 18th to 21st, 2024, Thurs 12 pm to 10:30 pm, Fri & Sat 6 am to 10:30 pm, Sun 6 am to 3 pm
Admission: $20 to $65
Contact: Official LHC Balloon Festival and Fair Store (928) 505-2440 or via email
Gates open to the public at noon on Thursday, January 18th. A special night glow takes place at 6:30 pm every night but Sunday. Guests may also enjoy a mass ascension every morning at 7:45 am except for Thursday (weather permitting). Either one of these will make your mouth drop open in amazement. But if you manage to get to the field for both on any (or every) day of the event, you are in for a real treat.
Carnival Row opens up at noon on Thursday and 9 am throughout the rest of the festival. Vendors also open up for business at the same time. Make sure you stop in to check out this year's merchandise. Tethered and untethered rides will be offered each day of the festival. However, keep in mind that the weather may turn sour for balloon riding at any time. Tickets for each may be purchased on the day you wish to ride. They are offered on a first-come/first-served basis. Other fun activities include face painting, live music, games, car shows, comedy shows, K-9 demos, magic, and much, much more.

Lake Havasu Balloon Festival 2024
People tend to think of Albuquerque when they hear "hot air balloons". But you do not need to travel all the way to New Mexico to enjoy these beautiful flights of fancy in the sky. Fortunately, Lake Havasu plays host to its very own amazing festival right here every January.Gates open to the public at noon on Thursday, January 18th.
