While cities across the United States fight cold winter days, we still enjoy much warmer temperatures. In fact, we still hit highs in the low 70s even in December! That's why people love to "winter" in our town. With weather this nice, we still enjoy life on the lake with events like the Havasu Holiday Boat Parade of Lights 2024.

Havasu Holiday Boat Parade of Lights 2024

Unfortunately, if you have not already registered to participate in the Boat Parade of Lights, it's too late to do so. However, spectators enjoy the sights for free. All you need to do is head to the English Village, Rotary Park, London Bridge State Park, or London Bridge Beach. All offer great views of the boats going through the Bridgewater Channel. They also offer free parking. However, we strongly suggest that you head out early to claim a good spot. Parking and traffic tend to be tight the closer to the start of the parade it gets. Make sure you bring lawn chairs and blankets for your comfort.

Ice Skating in Lake Havasu City

Just a reminder. London Bridge Resort currently offers ice skating every Wednesday through Sunday from now until January 12th. It only costs $15 per adult, $13 for kids ages six to 12, and $8 for kids under six years old for one hour (including skate rental). The rink shuts down on Mondays and Tuesdays. So, grab your family and friends. Maybe a coat as well. Then head over to the London Bridge Resort for some family-friendly fun.

Festival of Lights

After you go skating, you might want to wander through the English Village. Why? Well, you can tick off a few more presents on your Christmas list. And you will be treated to an amazing overhead display of over half a million twinkling lights. And it costs nothing to traipse through these sparklers. Free parking is available just outside the English Village, at the Convention Center, or at London Bridge Resort.
