For many people, Labor Day marks the end of summer. However, technically, it ends on September 21st. That means that the Monster Energy IHRA World Cup 2026 could very well be the last official summer event taking place in Lake Havasu City.

Men and women compete in over 30 different categories throughout this five-day event. Watch everything from Amateur to Pro, Endurance to Freestyle, Vintage to Sport compete on a closed-course race out on the lake. Qualifying begins on Wednesday, September 16th. Friday, September 18th includes live entertainment and a pit party at night. In addition to the racing out on the lake, Saturday offers a freestyle motocross show, pro and amateur classes, and entertainment onshore all day long. On the final day, you also get motocross shows, the awards banquet at London Bridge Resort, an after-party at Kokomo's, and a freestyle show poolside directly following the awards.

 

Come out to cheer on the contestants at this fun World Cup event. Even if you don't personally know anyone competing, you can lend your support to all of the racers. And there is guaranteed to be something to keep you entertained throughout the entire time you're there. What a great day to say goodbye to summer!

This Friday marks the 25th anniversary of the tragedy that befell our country on 9/11. To honor those who lost their lives on that horrific day as well as honoring the first responders and volunteers who gave their time on that day and afterwards, the 9/11 Memorial Committee will be hosting a special tribute near the flagpoles at London Bridge Beach. The ceremony begins at 8:15 am on Friday, September 11th. Everyone is invited to attend. Please feel free to bring a chair with you for your comfort.
