Organizers of this back-to-school extravaganza wanted to make it a one-stop shop sort of event to help parents check off everything on their list. Need immunizations? Check. Dental exams? Check. Vision Screenings? Check. Sports physicals or just a physical in general? Check. Developmental screening? Check. They even have people on-site to give your child a haircut so they look extra special for their first day.

Reading & Signing of the Declaration of Independence
Beginning at 8 am, the City invites the public to gather at the stage under the London Bridge. That is where members of the public (men, women, veterans, children) can read parts of the Declaration of Independence to the gathered crowd. If you are interested in reading a portion of this historic document, you simply need to send your request in via email. While you're there, feel free to add your name to the 4' x 8' copy of the Declaration of Independence on display, just like our forefathers did.
