Ice Skating in Lake Havasu
The calendar may still say it's fall, but the Resort wants to make it feel like winter. Last weekend, they opened up their ice skating rink to the public. It costs just $15 per adult (ages 13 and up), $13 per kid ages six to 12, and $8 per child aged five or younger for one hour on the ice. That price includes skate rental as well.

Witch Hat Night - October 10th from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at Summeray Wine Bar (2097 McCulloch Blvd N). Women With Willpower host this fun Halloween-themed fundraiser. Wear your best witch's hat. You might win a prize. Plus, try to win great prizes in the 50/50 and other raffles. Money raised benefits women in the Lake Havasu area. Food and beverages will be provided to purchase. While snow covers many parts of the rest of the country in the winter, Lake Havasu City enjoys much warmer weather. Registration for this year's event opens up on September 15th. Just like the Desert Storm Poker Run that takes place in the spring, participants in Desert Bash race around the desert to pick up a card at each of five different checkpoints.
